TARGET AUDIENCE
Typical Target Audience
- The target audience for many psychological thrillers are 18+
- This is because they include a lot of violence and some psychological issues, which can be disturbing for many younger viewers.
- There are usually warnings on the back of the DVD cover which states why it is rated as it is e.g. contains extreme violence or sexual scenes.
Our Target Audience
- The certificate for our target audience will be 16+ and not 18+ as there will not be any explicit content.
- I am aiming to attract 50% males and 50% females as although psychological thrillers may be more a a male thing, the fact that a girl has been targeted in this thriller will have more of an effect on females to go and watch the film.
