Finding the Key props for our group

We had decided on a story line for our real project and we decided that out key/ feature prop would be the briefcase that the man in the phone box asks the woman to find.

My plan was to go out and look for different briefcases and take a picture and blog about the different prices and the place to get them from. However due to the heavy snow fall i was unable to. So instead i decided to look on internet shopping sites to look for the right briefcase for our project.

I began by looking on Ebay. Here are a few findings;

I found vintage leather briefcase which looks rather spook and old which would be good in a supernatural based thriller because it would add to the olden time feel that usual supernatural movies try to portray.

Although this briefcase is good and does portray a certain theme, i dont think it is the right briefcase for us simply because we are not doing a supernatural thriller.

I then found this vintage leather briefcase for £9.99. I thought that this briefcase would fit in nicely with the theme2 we are trying to portray because its not too olden time and it still remains in that spooky category.

I then came across this briefcase which is more modern and gives off a very professional feel for £26.95

You would usually see this type of briefcase in action thrillers where there is thousands of pounds of illegal money enclosed in it and being transported somewhere so we may need to decided what would be concealed in briefcase when deciding which one we would want to buy.

I then went on to Amazon to look further;

This £13.99 black leather briefcase would be good if we wanted to conceal something quite large in the briefcase due to its ability to expand so if the object we decide to put in the briefcase is rather big then we could consider this.

This is a cheaper alternative to the briefcase from Ebay shown above. This briefcase is £10 cheaper at only £15.95 so if the group decided on this type of briefcase then it would be better if we took the cheaper alternative.
