INITIAL IDEAS

The initial ideas for the opening of our thriller has aspects from both the films 'Taking of Pelham 1,2,3' and 'PhoneBooth'. In Liverpool street we plan to have a girl walking out from the station, ready to see her friend 'Monica'. As she waits, unexpectedly the phone (in the phone box) not to far from her starts to ring. Hesitantly, she walks towards the phone box and picks up. The man on the phone who seems to know who she (he knows her name and can see what she is wearing) tells her to walk to a road called 'Earl street' in which she will find a suitcase. Scared and confused, the girl searches for this street. On her way there, there will be cross cuts between her and another person who we are unaware of. This person will be wearing a suit and we will not see who the person actually is, however there will be close ups of him as he holds the exact type of suitcase in which the girl will find. As the girl arrives, there will be cross cuts to the man again, closeup shots of his mobile phone as he receives the text saying "she's there" and also closeup shots of his shoes etc. When the girl spots the suitcase, the opening will end. 

The title of our thriller being inside was used as firstly she walks inside the phone booth. Secondly, we don't know what's inside the suitcase and thirdly, this being psychological thriller, the man seems to be inside her head.
