Soudtrack Pro
We also got an introduction to soundtrack pro when we first started the course also. We learnt the basics such as;
- How to export projects from Final cut for Soundtrack pro
- How to Drag and drop our clip on to Soundtrack pro
- How to search for the specific sounds we need for our movie depending on which genre it is and whats happening at the specific parts of our clip
- How to drag and drop the sounds on to our soundtrack timeline
- How to put it at a specific part of our clip
- How to lay on and overlay more than one sound to give a better effect
- How to make the sound longer or shorter
- Changing the volume of the whole line of sound (e.g. if there was more that one sound on the same line then it would edit the sound level of the whole line)
- How to export the file back in however changing it so that their is only one line of submixers rather that 5 or however many layers you have decided to use
We also had to incorporate these skills in to the editing of our actual project and get more in depth to ensure our project was not basic.
