Movie openings may differ extremely but if you look closer you will see that they all follow a sort of unwritten set of Movie Opening Rules. Movie opening near enough always start with:
- The logo of the distribution and production company
- The company who produced the movie's name
- Name of the film
- The cast, in order of importance, so main character first and so on all the way to extras
- Casting by
- Music by
- The editor
- The production designer
- Director of the photography used in the film
- Executive producer/s
- Directors
The directors name many people would think should come first but in fact it comes last, sort of like a signature at the end of a letter, it doesn't come at the start of the letter but at the bottom.
